With more cameras offering high quality HDMI and SDI video output, the Atomos Ninja V steps in, not only as a stunning monitor but also as a recorder of 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit video to on-board SSD drives in edit-friendly ProRes or Avid formats as well as RAW with supported cameras. The Ninja V+ will allow for up to 4K 120p and 8K 30p ProRes RAW recording. The Nauticam NA-Ninja V-S, when used with supported housings and cameras, allows for the connection of the Ninja V over HDMI 2.0 or SDI in addition to providing easy access to the Ninja V controls underwater. This ‘S’ version allows for the use of the AtomX SDI Module inside the housing to use the Atomos Ninja V as an SDI monitor/recorder or to facilitate SDI cross conversion for a dual/remote monitor configuration.
