If you try to dive with your own glasses under your diving mask ,you often suffer from leakage or problems with foggyness.

If you wear glasses with a relatively low correction, you do not really need any diving glasses because under water everything is about 25% bigger.

The rough rule of thumb here is: If you can drive a car legally without glasses, your sight with ordinary diving glasses is good enough.

Reading glasses are of course the exception, because with reading glasses you can drive a car but not read your diving instruments.

Wearing a pair of contact lenses is simple & effective (and full view), but it does have a healthy risk of losing a lens when you flood your mask.
